Dries Visser Jr.
Owner, Operator and Professional Hunter
Dries is the owner of Dries Visser Safaris. Born in 1976, he grew up on the family hunting ranch, Citadel. He qualified as a professional hunter in 1995 and, with over 30 years of experience, remains an active Professional Hunter. Every year, Dries also participates in marketing activities in the USA from January to February.
He is married to Hillana Visser, and together they have three daughters: Dimion, Milandi, and Amone Visser.

They are both avid and experienced bowhunters and have been part of the hunting industry for many years, not just as active outfitters but as guides as well. Their passion for hunting, wildlife, conservation, and the great outdoors is what makes them the perfect hosts, with the experience to assist you with your hunting safari. They have extensive local and international exposure and places service excellence for client satisfaction as a top priority & delivers on their promises.

The 2026 hunting season celebrates his 14th year hunting with the DVS family. Hunting is more than a trophy on the wall, it’s about spending time with family or friends and meeting new people in camp. That’s one of the biggest reasons he keeps on guiding, meeting new people and helping them achieving their ultimate dream when hunting the African continent. Hunting is one of the best ways of conservation and he is proud to be part of the biggest bow hunting outfit in South Africa.

Meet the powerhouse duo! Stian, professional hunter with more than 20 years’ experience and exceptional knowledge of the bush and African wildlife, will ensure that you get your shot on your dream animals. Cornél, his wife, very meticulous and precise on detail, will make sure that your African Hunt equals comfort and cuisine, part of her mission at the Lodge. Your stay will be memorable, and you will return not just as clients but special visiting friends!

Frank was born in 1984 and raised on a ranch his whole life. He’s got a big passion for the outdoors and everything it has to offer. He’s been a professional hunter for 7 years now, and 4 years with Dries Visser Safaris. He sees himself as a very dedicated hunter that sets his goals high. And always try his utmost best.
Ryno & Lize Smith
Professional Hunters & Dries Visser Safaris Client Liaison
The Smiths have been with Dries Visser Safaris since 2021. Lize is our client liaison, working closely with our clients. She oversees quotations and manages all matters relating to the export of trophies. Ryno studied Conservation Management and has always prided himself on working with his hands. He has a great passion for hunting and the outdoors. He has been with Dries Visser Safaris for 5 years and has been a professional hunter since 2023.
Willem Van Dyk
Professional Hunter
Willem van Dyk was born in July of 1995. Being a 3rd generation hunter you can say I was destined to follow in my family’s footsteps. I have a very big passion for nature and wildlife. As a hobby I collect indigenous plants of South Africa. I grew up on a farm in the Limpopo Valley basin.
Hanré Schlebusch
Dries Visser Safaris Accountant
Hanré handles all the companies accounting and finances. She has been
working in accounting since 2019 before joining the Dries Visser Safaris team. She is very hard and competent worker, making sure that that side of the business is always taken care of. She goes over and beyond in making sure that everything runs smoothly. The Company is fortunate
to have her on their team.

He has been passionate about hunting his whole life. He grew up on a ranch in Limpopo, where he found his love for the outdoors. He started his
professional hunting career in 2017, after he finished high school. His biggest childhood dream was to guide others in finding and embracing their adventurous, outdoor self and is blessed to be living his dreams.
