Zambia is one of Africa’s premier destinations for hunting dangerous game such as lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant, as well as a wide variety of plains game. The renowned Luangwa Valley stands out as one of the continent’s finest wildlife sanctuaries, celebrated for its exceptional concentrations and diversity of game and birdlife. Our hunts take place primarily in the Luangwa Valley, offering an authentic African hunting experience in one of the most pristine natural environments on the continent. Hunting takes place in the Luangwa Valley, Kafue Flats, and Bangweulu Swamps, within government‑managed conservation areas or on large privately owned ranches, depending on the species being sought.
Hunting Season: 1 May to 31 December

Most of our camps offer the same style and quality you would expect from first‑class safari camps in Eastern Africa. Each camp is built using natural materials and features high‑quality, classic safari‑style tents. All tents are equipped with private en‑suite bathrooms, complete with running hot and cold water, flush toilets, and comfortable showers. Depending on the location, camps may also include roof fans or even air conditioning. Fresh linen and basic toiletries are provided, along with all meals, soft drinks, and daily laundry service (except on travel days). After a long, dusty day in the bush, few things compare to a refreshing hot shower—except perhaps enjoying a sundowner by the campfire as the African night settles in.
All camps are equipped with comprehensive medical kits, and telephone or radio communication is always available in case of an emergency. Please note that Zambia is a high‑risk malaria area; we strongly recommend consulting your doctor or a travel clinic well in advance and taking the necessary prophylactic precautions. For security and peace of mind, we advise guests to keep travel documents, traveller’s cheques, and cash on their person at all times, or to request that we store them safely on your behalf. Please ensure that all accommodation and travel arrangements before and after your safari are made in advance, as these expenses are not included in your contracted safari package. Upon arrival in Zambia, our staff will personally welcome you at the nearest port of entry (airport) to your hunting area and arrange your transfer to the safari camp or lodge, either by air charter or ground transport, depending on the location.
Customs clearance is handled at your port of entry into Zambia. All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended departure date. Depending on your country of origin, a visa may be required; in most cases, this can conveniently be obtained upon arrival at the airport. We strongly recommend that guests arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering personal effects, luggage, trip cancellation, and medical evacuation (“Casevac”) prior to departure. A firearm import permit is required for hunting in Zambia. Once your safari has been booked, we will handle all the necessary arrangements to obtain the appropriate gun permits on your behalf and ensure that your firearms are cleared smoothly upon arrival.
An import and export CITES permit for Appendix I species, and an export CITES permit for Appendix II species, are required for each trophy shipment. All field preparation of trophies is carried out in camp and then transported to a shipping agent designated by the outfitter. Clients will be introduced to the shipping agent to discuss their specific requirements and arrange payment for related services.
